Empowering Women’s Health: Our Mission at Eastern Iowa Women’s Health Center

At Eastern Iowa Women’s Health Center, our mission is to empower women with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to take control of their health. We believe that every woman has the right to access quality healthcare, regardless of her background, income, or circumstances.

Why Women’s Health Matters

Women’s health is a critical issue that affects not only individual women but also their families, communities, and societies as a whole. Women face unique health challenges that require specialized care, such as reproductive health, pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, and breast and cervical cancer screenings. Yet, women often face barriers to accessing healthcare, including lack of insurance, transportation, childcare, or privacy.

What We Offer

At Eastern Iowa Women’s Health Center, we offer a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of women of all ages and backgrounds. These services include gynecological exams, family planning, prenatal care, abortion, STI testing and treatment, breast cancer screenings, and menopause management. We also provide counseling, education, and support on various topics, such as sexual health, contraception, healthy relationships, and self-care.

Our Approach

At Eastern Iowa Women’s Health Center, we take a holistic approach to women’s health, addressing not only physical symptoms but also emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. We believe in empowering women to make informed decisions about their bodies and health by providing them with accurate and unbiased information, counseling, and support. We respect women’s autonomy, privacy, and confidentiality, and strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment for all women.
